Funeral services for Nora Bailey Yarbrough, age 92, of Roanoke, will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 11:00 am from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Revs. David Holmes and Bill Boggan officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, January 25th.

Mrs. Yarbrough died Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Traylor Nursing Home in Roanoke.

Survivors include a son, Jim Yarbrough (Laura) of LaGrange, Ga.; a sister, Mildred Bonner of Rock Mills; two brothers, Johnny Bailey of Columbus, Ga. and Buck Bailey of Anniston; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mrs. Yarbrough was born October 16, 1917, daughter of Grover and Viola Roberts Bailey. She was a member of Rock Mills Methodist Church and had retired from Wehadkee Yarn Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Awbrey Yarbrough; two brothers, Clyde Bailey and Grover Bailey, Jr.

Memorials may be floral or the family suggests contributions to Rock Mills Methodist Church.
