Obituary of Allen Michael Mitchell

Funeral services for Allen Michael Mitchell, age 21, of Birmingham, formerly of Roanoke and Eufaula, will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Teague officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 7th. Mr. Mitchell died Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at his home. Pallbearers will be Scotty Daniel, Chris Allen, Jamie Allen, Taylor Allen, Ethan Heard, and Timmy Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Heard, Noah Allen, and Isaiah Roberts. Survivors include his parents, Danny and LeJuan Mitchell of Birmingham; one brother, Tanner Jordan Mitchell of Birmingham; his grandmother, Shirley Allen of Roanoke. Mr. Allen was born August 18, 1991, son of Michael Daniel and Lillian LeJuan Allen Mitchell. He had been employed as a sales clerk with Slingshots T-shirts. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, K.C. and Katherine Mitchell; grandfather, Jimmy Allen; two uncles, Dennis Mitchell and Kenny Mitchell. The family will accept flowers or contributions to the Allen Mitchell Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
