Graveside services for Tony Elmer Smith, age 50, of Roanoke, will be held Friday, September 6, 2013, at 11:00 am from Mt. Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Gerald Romine and Rev. Gregory Walker officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 5th.
Mr. Smith died Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include one aunt, Margie Wilson of Roanoke and several cousins.
A lifelong resident of Roanoke (Chambers County), Mr. Smith was born on November 13, 1962, son of Elmer Lee and Rebecca Wilson Smith. He had worked as a forklift operator with Plantation Patterns.
