Memorial services for Isac Rothel Bowden, age 80, of Ohatchee, will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jeff Burns officiating
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28th.
Mr. Bowden passed away Monday, December 23, 2013, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Bowden of Ohatchee; four daughters, Peggy Jo Gregory of Columbus, GA, Martha Dell Gut of Plant City, FL, Janet Farkas of Ohatchee, Belinda Scarlett of Ft. Meade, FL; five sons James Isacc Bowden, Jimmy Harold Bowden, David Scott Bowden all of Ohatchee, Joey Rothel Bowden of Dothan, Terry Jerome Bowden of Florida; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
A Covington County native, Mr. Bowden was born on January 5, 1933, the son of Ollie and Martha Cain Bowden. Had been employed as a maintenance man by IMC-AGROCO. Mr. Bowden was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Damon Lamar Bowden, Robert Earl Bowden, Mark Blaine Lumley; one brother, Donald Eugene Bowden.
