Funeral services for Felix Lamar Weldon, age 74, of Wadley, will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Zenus Windsor and Bro. Phil Gore officiating. Burial will follow in Wadley City Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2013.
Mr. Weldon passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Angie Bailey (husband, Rick) of Wadley and Tammy Jones (husband, Tim) of Auburn; five grandchildren.
A Macon County native, Mr. Weldon was born on December 28, 1938, the son of William and Ida Mahone Weldon. He was a member of Beulah Christian Church and had been employed as a truck driver with National Linen Service. Mr. Weldon was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Geraldine Blanks Weldon.
