Obituary of Hazel Mae Morgan

Funeral services for Hazel Mae Morgan, age 88, of Roanoke, will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Samples and Bruce Alford officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Mrs. Morgan died Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Noland Hospital Anniston. Survivors include three daughters, Sonya Brady of Roopville, GA, Virginia Tiemersma of Bowdon, GA and Tracy Jackson of Miami, FL; four sons, Tony Tiemersma of Douglasville, GA, Ricky Tiemersma of Grantville, GA, Ronald Tiemersma of Woodland and Donald Tiemersma of Roanoke; one sister, Margie Beall of Woodland; two brothers, Kermit Huddleston of Ranburne and Mack Huddleston of Baton Rouge, LA; 14 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. A long-time Randolph County resident, Mrs. Morgan was born March 30, 1925, in Heard County, Georgia, daughter of John A. and Josephine Embry Huddleston. She was a member of Pentecostal Faith and had worked with the VFW and Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Trifiro.
