Obituary of Richard Terry Arrington

Funeral services for Richard Terry Arrington, age 56, of Roanoke, will be held Sunday, January 26, 2014, at 2:00 pm from Forest Home Christian Church with Rev. Stoney Halsey and Rev. Mike Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 25th. Mr. Arrington died Friday, January 24, 2014, at Roanoke Healthcare. Survivors include three daughters, Ashley Ann Arrington, Amber Nicole Arrington and Alicia Kaye Arrington, all of Wardell, Missouri; one son, Adam Nicholas Calhoun of Roanoke; two sisters, Phyllis Irene Adamson (Tommy) and Debra Grace Cook (Barry), all of Roanoke; one brother, Harold Clement Arrington (Donna), also of Roanoke; six grandchildren; and companion, Margie Wilson of Roanoke. Pallbearers will be Deanon Arrington, Darden Arrington, Barry Cook, Kerry Miles, Kenny Hood and Randy Knight. Mr. Arrington was born September 13, 1957, son of Hermis Clement and Faris Bethany Pike Arrington. He was a member of Forest Home Christian Church and had been employed with O'Rear Electric. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tommy Ray Arrington and Bobby Dean Arrington; a sister, Bethany Ann Arrington; and a niece, Lori Beth Adamson.
