Funeral services for Pam Mangram, age 62, of Roanoke, will be held Monday, February 10, 2014, at 2:00 pm (Central time) from Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Woodard officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 9th. Mrs. Mangram will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services on Monday. Mrs. Mangram died Friday, February 7, 2014, at her home. Survivors include her husband, John Mangram of Roanoke; one son, Adam Mangram (Gayla) of Roanoke; grandchild, Blayton Mangram; two sisters, Brenda Weathers of Roanoke and Elaine Harry of Millbrook; sister-in-law, Marcia Houze of Wadley. Pallbearers will be Richard Houze, Eric Houze, Steven Harry, James Harry, Wade Weathers, Matt Weathers and Stevan Pike. Honorary pallbearers will be Roanoke Utilities Board staff. A lifelong Roanoke resident, Mrs. Mangram was born February 7, 1952, daughter of James T. and Elsie Lamb Houze. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and had been employed with the City of Roanoke Utilities Board. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, John Tom Mangram; and a brother, Jimmy Houze. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Springfield Baptist Church.
