Funeral services for Lois Taylor Whaley, age 64, of Roanoke, will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Patricia Sims officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 18th.
Mrs. Whaley died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in Anniston.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas Whaley of Roanoke; one daughter, Krystle Spradlin (Thomas) of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Raymond Spradlin and Joshua Spradlin; one step-daughter, Mylinda Smith of Valley; one sister, Janice Rutledge of Tampa, FL.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Whaley was born May 15, 1949, daughter of Avery and Sue Rowe Taylor. She retired as a stock room clerk from Franklin Aluminum.
