Graveside services for Mary Lee Landers, age 94, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 11:00 AM from Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Yarbrough officiating.
Ms. Landers passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at her residence.
Survivors include: one niece, Harriett (husband, Ken) Taylor of Oxford, AL; two nephews, John (wife, Brenda) Landers and Bill (wife, Laura) Landers, both of Roanoke; six great-nieces and nephews; and 14 great-great nieces and nephews.
A Randolph County native, Ms. Landers was born on June 8, 1919, the daughter of Thomas Elmer and Myrtle Lee McCarley Landers. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Roanoke and worked at a store clerk at Super D. Ms. Landers was preceded in death by one brother, J. Thomas Landers and his wife Virginia Landers and one niece, Melissa Taylor Higginson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Roanoke.
