Funeral services for Macel Louise Wilson, age 71, of Roanoke, will be held Monday, June 2, 2014, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ricky Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, June 1st.
Mrs. Wilson died Friday, May 30, 2014, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Wesley M. Wilson of Roanoke; one daughter, Karyn Lorraine Bolan (husband, Scott) of Roanoke; two sons, Melvin Brent Wilson (wife, Shelley) and Michael Kent Wilson (wife, Kelli), all of Roanoke; one sister, Barbara Hensley of Sparta, Tennessee; one brother, Willis Crow of Laurel, Maryland; and seven grandchildren, Ashley Robinson (husband, Brian), Amanda Kirby, Corey Wilson, Leah Wilson, Kasey Bolan, Katlyn Wilson and Emily Wilson.
A long time Roanoke resident, Mrs. Wilson was born November 15, 1942, in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Arthur David and Birtie Littleton Crow. She was Baptist by faith and had been employed with Candlewick Yarns.
