Graveside services for David Phillip "Phil" Kirby, age 63, of Roanoke, will be held Friday, June 6, 2014, at 11:00 am from Rock Mills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends only at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 5th.
Mr. Kirby died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include one daughter, Tracy Winckelmann of New York; two grandchildren; one sister, Ellen Bassett of Newnan; one brother, Kenneth Kirby of Roanoke; two nephews; one niece.
A lifelong resident of Randolph and Chambers county, Mr. Kirby was born October 6, 1950, the son of David and Sue Benefield Kirby. He was Baptist by faith and had been employed as a meat cutter in Randolph and Chambers county. Mr. Kirby was preceded in death by his parents, David and Sue Kirby.
