Obituary of Emory Steve Brown

Funeral services for Emory Steve Brown, age 58, of Roanoke, will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014, at 11:00 am from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Benefield and Rev. David Glass officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 11th. Mr. Brown died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Stringfellow Hospital in Anniston. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Brown of Roanoke; two sons, Daniel Brown (wife, Ashley) and Benji Brown (wife, Mary) both of Roanoke; his mother, Mary Nell Brown of Roanoke; one brother, Rodney Brown of Roanoke; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Edward Gabriel, Jamie Heard, Greg Miller, Kevin Smith, Neil Hicks, Gene Benefield, and Jimmy Richardson. Mr. Brown was born August 24, 1955, the son of Emory and Mary Nell Gordon Brown. He was a member of Midway Full Gospel and had been employed with Candlewick Yarns. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his father.
