Obituary of Janice Sheats Rowland

Funeral services for Janice Marie Sheats Rowland, loving wife, mother, gradmother, and sister, age 62, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Atlanta, will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 2:00 pm (CDT) at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jackie Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2nd. Mrs. Rowland died Friday, June 27, 2014, at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, FL. Survivors include her husband, Mike Rowland of Tampa; one daughter, Melissa Sharp (husband, Chris) of Tampa; one son, Tim Rowland of Tampa; two grandchildren, Gage Sharp and Raina Rowland; one sister, Sandee Peavy (husband, Wayne) of Senoia, GA. Mrs. Rowland was born May 30, 1952, the daughter of Charlie B. and Edith M. Hopkins Sheats. She attended Bayside Community Church and had been employed as a certified medical assistant with Diagnostic Clinic in Clearwater, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Gunner Lee Sharp.
