Funeral services for Loree Wilder Williamson, age 83, of Roanoke, will be held Monday, August 11, 2014, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 pm on Monday.
Mrs. Williamson died Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Bethany House in Auburn.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Guntherberg of Roanoke; one grandson, Michael Sean Guntherberg of Jacksonville, FL; one great-grandson, Noah Sean Guntherberg of Jacksonville, FL: four brothers, Eschol Wilder of St. Louis, MO, Otto Wilder (wife, Frances) of Oxford, James Wilder (wife, Eleane) of Loganville, GA and Bennie Wilder (wife, Mary) of Senoia, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Williamson was born August 10, 1930, the daughter of Monroe and Minnie Dewberry Wilder. She was a homemaker and a member of Roanoke First Baptist Church. She and her husband Roy were owners of Williamson Realty in Roanoke for 34 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Williamson; and a son, Roy Ferrell Williamson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Roanoke First Baptist Church, 827 Main Street, Roanoke, AL 36274.
