Obituary of Stephen Larry Norred

Memorial services for Stephen Larry Norred, age 59, of Roanoke, will be held Friday, September 5, 2014, at 2:00 pm from Jordan Chapel Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Truman Norred officiating and Russell Henry delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour beginning at 1:00 pm on Friday. Mr. Norred died Sunday, August 31, 2014, at his home. Survivors include one son, Powell Norred of Atlanta; one sister, Gloria Clanton (husband, David) of Panama City, FL; one brother, William Keith Norred (wife, Tina) of Newell; his former wife, Debra Holleman (husband, Jonathan) of Atlanta; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A former resident of Conyers, Georgia, Mr. Norred was a Chambers County native, born October 22, 1954, the son of William Thomas and Julia Henry Norred. He had worked as a driver with WTW Trucking Company. He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Norred and his mother, Julia Norred Landers.
