Memorial services for Javoris Devantae Scott, age 19, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Curtis Spidell, Rev. Calvin Tramell, and Rev. Tom Emory Williams officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9, 2014.
Mr. Scott passed away Friday, September 05, 2014, at his residence.
Survivors include his father, Willie Fred Scott of Roanoke; his grandmother, Mary Frances Jones Scott of Roanoke; two sisters, Arnita Deprist of Wadley and Coretta Lynn Scott of Atlanta; and two brothers, John Frank Scott of Texas and Freddie Bernard Tucker of Roanoke; seven uncles; one special uncle, Alvin Broom; two aunts, Annie Lois Davenport of Hespria, Michigan, and Betty J. Watkins of Roanoke; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Birmingham native, Mr. Scott was born on September 22, 1995, the son of Willie Fred Scott and Ratchel Denise Goodwin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ratchel Denise Goodwin and one aunt, Mary Alice Goodwin.
