Obituary of Bovine Norred Fisher

Funeral services for Bovine Norred Fisher, age 77, of Roanoke will be held Monday, October 6, 2014, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ben Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 5th. Mrs. Fisher died Thursday, October 2, 2014, at East Alabama Medical Center. Survivors include two sons, Jeff Fisher (wife, Alecia) of Roanoke and Kinnie Calhoun (wife, Debbie) of Roanoke; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Joe Norred and Buck Norred, both of Roanoke. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Fisher was born May 23, 1937, daughter of Dalph and Flossie Truitt Norred. She worked as a caregiver and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Kitty" Fisher; two grandchildren, Alyissa Fisher and Alexis Fisher; two sisters, Opal Yarbrough and Earlene Arnette; five brothers, Virgil Norred, Jimmy Norred, Billy Norred, Ronnie Norred, and Leonard Norred.
