Funeral services for Clara "Dot" Nobley Allen, age 89, of Woodland will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2104, at 3:30 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Whaley and Rev. Ricky Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2014.
Mrs. Allen passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA.
Survivors include: one son, Terry Allen (wife, Munda) of Woodland and one grandson, Tucker Allen.
Pallbearers will be Paul Gay, Russell Norred, Kenneth Wortham, Clyde Wortham, and Phillip Wortham.
A Roanoke native, Mrs. Allen was born on September 19, 1925, the daughter of Martin Luther and Arizona Britt Nobley. She was a member of North Main Congregational Christian Church and was a retired lunchroom worker at Knight-Enloe Elementary School. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Durward Manley Allen; and nine brothers and sisters.
