Funeral services for Janice McDonald, age 64, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Calhoun officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Friday, December 26.
Mrs. McDonald passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Gregory McDonald of Roanoke; two daughters, Melissa Whitehead of Gray, GA, and Angel Calhoun of Roanoke; one son, Kevin Sudduth of Roanoke; ten grandchildren; and two brothers, Jimmy Smith and Mike Smith of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be Eric Johnson, Logan Johnson, Donald Whitehead, and Craig Calhoun.
A longtime Roanoke resident, Mrs. McDonald was born on May 3, 1950, the daughter of Lewis Junior and Nellie Stewart Smith. She was Baptist by faith and worked as a beamer for Amoco Fabrics. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her parents.
