OBITUARY

Funeral services for Mr. James Rufus "Jimmy" Eichelberger, of Anniston, age 76, will be held Sunday, April 18, 2010, at 3:00 pm from the North Main Congregational Christian Church with Larry Grizzard and Rev. Billy Watts officiating. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2010.

Mr. Eichelberger died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include one daughter, Jan (husband Terry) Grizzard of Anniston; one brother, Charles (wife Cynthia) Eichelberger of Columbus, GA; six grandchildren, Kai Martin, Ian Martin, Morgan Martin, Molly Martin, Cristy (husband Warren) Clements, Lee (wife Sarah) Grizzard; one great grandchild, Patrick Grizzard; one sister-in-law, Jean (husband Bill) McCreight; brother-in-law, Charles (wife Barbara) Dollar; former son-in-law, Chris Martin.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Eichelberger, Kai Martin, Ian Martin, Lee Grizzard, Bill McCreight and Chris Martin.

Mr. Eichelberger was born July 31, 1933, the son of Rufus A. and Audrey Brown Eichelberger. He was a member of North Main Congregational Christian Church and retired from Union Yarn Mills as Vice President of the West Alabama Division. Mr. Eichelberger was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Dollar Eichelberger; his parents; one son, Jamie Eichelberger.
