OBITUARY
Funeral services for Miss. Ava Ruth Stephens, of Wadley, age 86 will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Don Quick officiating. Burial to follow in the Mt Zion Christian Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 26, 2010.
Miss. Stephens died Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Randolph Medical Center.
Survivors include one brother, Jesse B. Stephens of Wadley; several nieces and nephews.
Miss. Stephens was born July 21, 1923, the daughter of Walter B. and Annie Ruth Littlefield Stephens. She was a member of Radneys Chapel Methodist Church and had been a seamstress for Palm Beach Company. Miss. Stephens was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Emily Stephens Mitchum.
