Dear Family: Please accept my condolence for the loss of your loved one. To live to be this age is truly a blessing from God. (Psalm 90:10) Imagine your loved one living "forever". That is what the Bible promises at Revelation 21:4 because one of the things that will be gone is death and Isaiah 25:8 says that “He (God) will swallow up death forever.” For those who have died, God promises they will be resurrected back to earth under peaceful conditions. Your beloved is included in that promise. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11) We can trust God and put all of our faith in him because he does not lie. (Numbers 23:19) To learn the Bible's answer to the question, "Can the Dead Really Live Again?", type the following links into your browser to read or listen to the answer: tinyurl.com/mezwv23 and tinyurl.com/jyp4yl4.

Teri was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her life caused every life that knew her to be richer and more abundant. As members of First Baptist Church, Roanoke, my husband I shared in watching a young couple who loved each other and were abundantly devoted to each other. And, then Will came into the picture. I was widowed at that time at an early age and was the counselor at Knight Enloe Elementary. I will never forget when Will began Kindergarten and at the end of third grade graduated that go forth to Handley Middle School. Teri and Johnny were so very active in every aspect of Will's educational life and after school sports. I loved watching how much they love their child. I loved that look they gave Will because I had felt that look in my own eyes. Teri was one of the best Mothers on this earth. She was one of the best Mothers I knew. I will NEVER forget how she loved Johnny and Will. You could not mistake that love of her husband and then her child.
Having gone through breast cancer myself, I talked to her through Facebook Messenger. We talked about fears of leaving only because of our precious loved ones. We talked about our faith in our Almighty God. Teri wanted to not be defined by breast cancer and asked that everyone would write what meant most to her about her life. I wrote and wrot and there was not enough words. But, the bottom line was how deeply she loved our Lord and how deeply she loved Johnny, Will, and her close family members and dear friends. But her hierarchy of deepest love was her Lord, Johnny and Will. That love was evident in every action she took, in every breath of her life.
When I heard the news that she had gone to her Lord, my shoulders dropped with relief for her. After visiting with her a God, I knew that she was already preparing for the new home of Johnny and Will. I knew she did not hurt anymore. I knew she fought the good fight as valiantly as anyone on this earth. And, I knew she felt that unbelievable peace that is indescribable to human beings.
I know where she is as does everyone who knew her and I know she is preparing a place for those she loved so deeply.
WELL DONE THY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!!!

Terri was one of the strongest women I had ever met. She lived with a love for her family that was awesome, and it was easy to see that they felt the same. I cared so much for Will when he was in my class and continue to feel this way; he is such a fine young man who has always honored his parents. You are all in my prayers, and I hope you know how much this community will miss her.

Dearest family, we were so very saddened to hear about Teri. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. She touched so many lives during her lifetime--young and old. That infectious smile she had on that pretty face, even during her struggling last few years, said so much about the kind hearted person she was.
May our Lord above wrap His strong arms around all of you to help carry you thru these next most difficult days and times.
Love and prayers sent to all of you.
