I just found this online when searching for my old buddy. John was fun, kind, and loved his friends and family. We worked together at Ft Gillem, GA, and he was one of my first and long-time dear friends. I’m very sad but heaven gained an amazing guy. Linda Holley (Kapral)

It's been a little over a year since your passing. I'm sure you have cleaned them out on the poker tables in Heaven. A very kind and generous man. You are missed.

I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. I spent many hot summer vacations with my cousin John in Illinois. We were close in age and enjoyed playing games together. He was a loving, giving, and genuine person who will be missed. I always enjoyed reading his history of Madison posts which were interesting and entertaining. Rest in peace, my dear cousin.

Am truly sorry to hear of John's passing. A true patriot and soldier who served his country proudly, during times of peace and war. His presence on Earth will be surely missed by all who knew him. I had the honor to chat with him on occasion these past few years. I recall John from our old school at Madison Senior High School of the 1960s. I was happy to see that John excelled in his US Army career! Gone to the ages, our old pal, John. God bless you so, old soldier...condolences to the family...
