Remembering Aunt Jean and thinking of her family...
Aunt Jean often stopped by or invited us over to "say hello," when we were visiting Roanoke. I will always remember her kindness and how she lit up when she talked about her grandchildren...how she never wanted to impose, how she hated perfumes, and her laugh.
I cannot make it to the service tomorrow, but I will be thinking of you all.

So sorry for everyone, I enjoyed our Christmas dinner talking with her and reminiscing. She remembered me and I was so glad. She will always have a special place with me as one of my favorite teachers.

When I think of Mrs. Ford, the first word that comes to my mind is "lady." She was a true lady. I'm so sorry for your loss.
