Dearest family , I am so very sorry to hear about Dudley !
When I think of him and Vernette I always smile because it reminds me of their visits to my sweet parents. Mom and Dad was always so happy when they stopped by!! They never forgot their being raised on the Mill Village!! Things have really changed since Handle Mills closed!
We send prayers, thoughts, and condolences to all of you ! Dudley will definitely be missed !!

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
