Funeral services for Annette Moore Rice Elliott of Fredonia, AL, will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Haskins and Rev. Rusty Tate officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM before services begin on Friday.

Mrs. Elliott passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at her daughter’s residence.

Survivors include: one daughter, Cynthia Hightower (Jeffery) of Wadley; daughter-in-law, Yvette Elliott of Fayetteville, GA; four sons, David Paul Rice of Tuscaloosa, Stephen Mark Rice (Carol) of Atlanta, Jesse Carlton Elliott of Wadley, and John Freeman Elliott (Laura) of Newnan, GA; Grandchildren, Beth Henry, Katie Johnson, Emilie Martinet, Shanna Holmes, Troy Tibbetts, Michelle Elliott, Katie Elliott, Jess Elliott, Madeline Elliott, John Elliott, and Jake Elliott; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Emily Knight Sanders.

Pallbearers will be Spencer Duffey, Chuck Spivey, Gary Perry, Isreal Henry, Brett Johnson, and Troy Tibbetts.

A Wadley native, Mrs. Elliott was born on December 24, 1936, the daughter of George and Ethel Cooper Hester.  She was a member of Langdale United Methodist Church and was a housewife.  Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her biological father, Paul C. Moore, stepfather, George Hester, and mother, Ethel Cooper Hester; two husbands, J. P. Rice and Joseph Harold Elliott; a stepson, David Elliott; a granddaughter, Marcie Elliott; and two sisters, Olive Precious Cole and Pauline Mayme Beeker.
