Mr. Steve was a wonderful person and friend. We have known him for a long time and never did we see him without a smile or hug. He will be dearly missed by all that loved him!

Dearest family, I find it hard to put into words what Steve Cole meant to me and my family . My parents called on Steve for every little ‘not- working ‘ thing that come about in their house—- he would come and stay until he fixed whatever. If Momma couldn’t get him in the phone, my Daddy would hop in his truck and ‘hunt’ him down and if he was in Roanoke Daddy would find him!!
Also, for us at Community Life Church we thought he could fix anything we needed to be fixed—-we called — Steve came!! He worked with Wayne at Uniroyal for years, car-pooled with him as well!!! Oh how we will miss him !
We send to all of you love, hugs, and prayers!
Joyce we love you and will be here for you in the difficult days ahead !!!
