Vicky and family , my heart aches over your loss !
I worked with Fred for years and years at Randolph County Hospital and he was one that could make laugh while trying to do a X-ray in the ER on an uncooperative Saturday night patient or while you were eating lunch and hear X-ray paged Stat to the ER ! He would tell the ones at his table ‘don’t let them throw my food away’ . His smile and his laugh was the same to everyone !! His way of calming them down !
Fred will be missed - he was one of the good ones!!
RIP my sweet friend—tell Bobby Burroughs and Jim Vineyard hello from all of us at RCH !!
Fly High my friend! We will miss you at our hospital reunion in January !!!

Uncle Fred was always my uncle that I would go to for our shared love of chocolate. We had many memories of he and Aunt Vicki coming to TN for Thanksgivings, Christmas, and family Birthdays. I adored getting my birthday cards growing up as they always had a special message. Uncle Fred always had a joke or a funny story that he would share. He and Aunt Vicki would always have the electric ice cream maker full of fresh peach ice cream that would be going as we had a corn shucking party at Granny Roberts house. Memories of him chatting and talking in his favorite recliner have a special place in my heart. His favorite little dogs Shadow, and Cooper at his feet or always near. Rest in Peace Uncle Fred, we will see you again when we meet in Heaven.
