As a young man it always made me happy to see Uncle Curt and Aunt Vina pull up. I knew all I had to do is ask and they would take me home with them to spend the night. Remembering all the nights listening to vinyl records and her trying to teach me to 2 step. All of the trips to the store to buy new shoes and clothes. She always had a change purse in an end table that she would save change so that when we came over she had money for ice cream truck. They always went out of their way to make every sleep over special. The one thing I remember most is that she loved her soap operas. You were not to make any noise when they were on. Thank you and Uncle Curt for making my childhood so special. I love you.
