I first met Barbara after David died. She was grieving strongly, angry and had no problems telling you how she felt.
Her honesty, her pain and her laughter helped not only herself find healing, she also helped so many others.
I will miss Barbara's greatly, but know she is in that place where there are no more tears, sorrow or death.
Thank you Barbara for sharing your tears, your laughter and your pain.
Prayers to Allen, Amy and family.

Precious....hilarious....loyal..goodness...talent...LOVE... these are words that come to mind when I remember Barbara. Because she was a "best friend" to my sweet sister, Jackie M. Cottle, she was like a member of our family. And we loved her very much....her and her sweet family, too. Go rest high on the mountain, sweet girl. We'll see you, by and by. You were an angel here on Earth and now you are an angel in Heaven, watching over us all.

Allen, Amy, and Family:
Barbara was a blessing to so many of us with her kind heart, and her understanding of our grief. All of the years I have known this family, she always had a smile to give to someone whom needed it. Through the loss of both of my parents Loretta & Robert Erwin, and then dealing with the loss of my brother Jimmy "Swerve" Erwin....she helped me so much and gave me a kind heart and a kind ear to listen to me. She hugged me and helped me when no one else could seem to do so. You all are in my thoughts and prayers, and will continue to be there. My heart goes out to you all. Mrs. Barbara: Thank you for touching so many of our lives with your smile, laughter, and love for others. JR/Amy/Family: Thank you all for sharing your wife/mom/daughter, etc with us. God bless you all!

Mrs. Ramsey was a beautiful person. I always enjoyed our conversation. She loved her family and shared the love of Christ with everyone she met. The world is a better place because of Mrs. Ramsey. May God be with the family as they say good bye.

Allen and Amy, though I haven't seen Barbara frequently in recent years, I have so many memories of her and you, Allen, babysitting for us, taking us places, your beautiful wedding. Barbara was always smiling, inside & out. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm sorry distance kept me from being there in person & my mom sends her love and prayers. Her poor health prevented her from coming. You both will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry.
