Graveside services for Clara Frances Waters, 87, of Roanoke will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from Paran Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Taylor officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 3:00 pm on Wednesday.
Mrs. Waters passed away Friday, August 1, 2014, at Roanoke Healthcare Center.
Survivors include: one daughter, Shirley Jean Luken of Roanoke; three grandchildren, James Cramer, Kevin Cramer, and Tyson Hernandez; and one sister, Barbara Brogdan of Apple Valley, CA.
A Buford, Georgia native, Mrs. Waters was born on March 8, 1927, the daughter of Rimsey and Maude Bennett Edwards. She was a homemaker and a member of Paran Baptist Church. Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Waters; one daughter, Susan Waters Hernandez; and one granddaughter, Frances Hernandez.
